Vienna’s Heldenplatz turned into a stage for Upper Austrian lifestyle last weekend. At the OÖ Sommerfrische, regions, excursion destinations, culinary specialties, cultural highlights and hosts from all across Upper Austria showcased the best of what the province has to offer right in the heart of Austria’s capital. Thousands of visitors took the opportunity to experience the spirit of summer retreat, discover regional delicacies and gather inspiration for their next holiday.
Bergbahnen Dachstein Salzkammergut were also represented with a special attraction: an original 6-seater chairlift from the Dachstein West ski resort and the ski race start house brought a piece of the Salzkammergut directly to Heldenplatz. Both photo spots invited visitors to relax, take pictures and connect with others, attracting enthusiastic attention from guests of all ages.
