Celebrate with us a strong symbol for a united Europe! On the occasion of the enlargement of the European Cross with new stones from

  • Bulgaria

  • Romania and

  • Croatia

the province of Upper Austria, together with the European Commission, invites you to a joint hike on the Feuerkogel on 13 May 2025.

Program

Hike together to Europe Cross: 13 May 2025

  • 10:35 am– hike from the cable car mountain station to the European Cross

  • 11:45 am– Ceremonial address by Provincial Councillor Markus Achleitner and Christian Wigand (European Commission)

  • afterwards - hike back to the Feuerkogel mountain station

Participation in the hike is free of charge! Meeting point mountain station Feuerkogel!

Tip: hiking outfit

  • dress sportily and according to the weather

  • sturdy, ankle-high shoes and sun or rain protection are recommended.
